This debacle speaks for itself! This was the second stuck truck of the morning!!!! Comes with the territory….

Special thanks to the crew who deprived their personal sanitation and sanity to run this operation with us! We did slip out for a hunt one afternoon together to take a breather and had some good laughs.

Rock was kind enough to tell me what a test plot for corn was all about. Seemed strange to hunt a 5 acre corn patch in the middle of 500 acres of beans…but the snows dug it! That was a ball! Great dog work too. Enjoyed it guys!

With the chaotic pace of the spring snow goose season winding down a little here in Missouri, I finally have some time to put some pics up!  Sleep is something we are all pretty much deprived of, but the memories we made in the field this spring were priceless!  Next stop…..South Dakota!

Blake was as fine a young man as I have had the pleasure of having in the field…unfortunately I now am left trying to hide the fact I was out shot by an 11 year old!!!!!!!!!! 

Doug Minor, Kelly Gotch and crew were in town filming two episodes of the National Shooting Sports Foundations Step Outside TV that aires on the Outdoor Channel as well as one for The Guide Series- with Kelly Gotch that aires on the Pursuit Network.  Be sure to keep your eyes open for these TV shows as they have some incredible footage!!!!!

Scouting is the name of the game when it comes to staying under spring snows…….this scouting trip paid off!

Wade Bourne, Mike Checkett and the rest of the Ducks Unlimited TV crew came out to film a segment.  Despite the bitter conditions, they have some footage you won’t want to miss when it aires on the Outdoor Channel!
